Rahma Haruna was a young girl from Kano, Nigeria, who gained international attention for her rare condition known as spinal muscular atrophy. This condition caused her body to be paralyzed, leaving her unable to walk, sit up, or use her arms.
Despite her disability, Rahma still managed to live a relatively active life. She was carried around by her family members or pushed in a wheelchair to attend school, run errands, and visit friends. She also enjoyed watching television, using a computer, and interacting with her family.
